Rocky Point Park Re Open!

 

Well fellow Rocky Point Park lovers! I have good news! As of June 2011 the Park has been reopened by the City of Warwick to the public. Sorry, there are no rides or Clam Chowder to enjoy. But there is a beautiful beach to enjoy.  As well as a walk way that stretches along side of the road that we have all come to know and love that runs by the Shore Dinner Hall to the back parking lot where the batting cages used to be. What a thrill it was to reenter Rocky Point Park. There is a parking lot out side what once was the main gate (the concrete support forms are still there) where there was once a house. The Iconic Rocky Point Park Arch is also still there. The Sky liner, the Shore Dinner Hall and the Palladium are also still there. However, the land from the Shore Dinner Hall back is not owned by the city of Warwick. It is considered Private Property and does have a security guard watching over it. So check it out when you get a chance, after a 15 year absence from our family memories, Rocky Point Park is back! Go enjoy and Take care!
